Many sponsorship opportunities exist within the student sector of the game, from the prestigous Varsity match (every March), to direct sponsorship of the student leagues or even international matches and tournoments, such as the SRL World cup. The Student Rugby League Alumni publishes a quarterly newsletter 'League Leader', an influential journal read by everyone connected with the student game. The membership of the Alumni includes Neil Tunnicliffe and many influential former players now in industry, not to mention the many hundreds of graduates from the student game.
